In this Vintage Design Tool post, what is this? Yes. This is a 35mm camera and film. I had a couple 35mm cameras and I knew how to process and print my own film and make my own prints. I liked my 35mm camera but my digital camera is so easy. I can take as many images as I want. What is on your wall? 2019 Pasadena Daydream Festival Poster, Saturday, August 31, 2019, Pasadena, California. This poster was sent to VIP ticket holders for this festival. This venue is not my favorite and it took 2 hours to into the festival (there were such long lines). I missed the Deftones. But the Cure was worth the long lines and heat. My book recommendation for this month is “Sonia Delaunay” by Anne Montfort. This book was published by Tate Publishing, in October 2015. Sonia Delaunay (1885–1979) was a key figure in the Parisian avant-garde, whose vivid and colorful work spanned painting, fashion and design. The Tate Modern presented the first UK retrospective from her early figurative painting in the 1900s to her energetic abstract work in the 1960s. I purchase this book a couple of years ago from the Tate Modern to learn more about this important artist and her work. Graphic Design Myths to Debunk: Myth 2: “Print is Dead, Digital is Everything.” What is digital design? Digital design is visual communication that users interact with on a computer, phone, etc. Print design offers a tactile experience that digital design can’t compete with. The print industry is now more sustainable and eco-friendly. Printed design can help make a new business legitimate to new customers. Both print and digital design are important and I enjoy working in both digital and print design. I designed two print brochures this summer for a new client and I enjoy it so much.
