Taking a moment to reflect on #RelativityFest 2024 and what an incredible experience! I am so glad I had a chance to attend! Here are my key takeaways: 1. Industry conferences are essential for career growth. Whether you're exploring new opportunities (ahem!), making new connections, refreshing old ones, or catching up with friends, networking is about being where the people are - that could be Zoom meetings, local events, or global conferences with 2K+ attendees! 2. Investing in the future is key to the industry's longevity. Thank you to the Relativity Scholars Program and Janice L. Hollman ROCP for inviting me to be a mentor and for connecting me with the brilliant Jasmine Myers. A heartfelt thank you to the Hon. Tanya R. Kennedy for spending time with us and the scholars. 3. Community is integral to professional development. I'm grateful to Blacks United in Legal & Technology (BUiLT) for fostering an inclusive network in our industry. Special thanks to Stacy Ybarra for coordinating our community event at Fest and to Black Relativity (BREL) for their support. 4. Cultivating safe spaces is vital for industry well-being. It was an honor to be a moderator at the Operation Safe Spaces Townhall. Big thanks to Esther Birnbaum, Blair Cohen and so many others for championing this critical initiative. 5. Supporting startups is crucial for industry growth. Shout-out to Zubu, Intrepid Managed Discovery, Right Discovery, and Right Forensics for leading the way for entrepreneurs. A special shoutout to the #DallasMafia and their thriving eDiscovery business incubator. I’d join you in Dallas but the Philadelphia sports fan in me just won’t let it happen (Go Eagles!!!). Thank you for inspiring us to launch our own businesses! It's conference season - are you attending any events? If so, share your insights and takeaways with us! You never know who you may inspire to do the same 😊.

So many great moments to share from #RelativityFest last week but here are my top 3️⃣. I will share in a separate post my overall memories. 3. Watching #ACEDS Chicago Chapter Leader Bill Ryan, CEDS explaining the importance of #ediscovery training and certification to the students from Chicago’s Corliss High School. The Early College #STEM high school has a mission to create a learning community that promotes critical thinking, encourages creativity, fosters communication, and develops positive collaborative opportunities to solve real-world problems. Exactly what we need in legal technology and #kudos to Relativity for bringing the kids each year to learn and engage with our community, an experience that must be phenomenal for them. 2. Reconnecting with Amie Taal who I have missed seeing and chatting with. We both participated in the “State of the Union” session and as always she educated the entire room on DORA—a new act we need to be watching for. She is just an amazing individual and beautiful person that I respect. And my most favorite moment 🤩 💚. 1. Meeting in person Melina Efstathiou,LL.M, CEDS, RCA after 5 years of building an international friendship solely via phone and video conference. I love this woman who has become more than a colleague. We have cried and brainstormed and laughed and more for hours sometimes. And the minute I heard her voice it made me so happy to finally get to turn around and hug this woman. What were your favorite moments? #bestfest #legaltech

Back in the saddle, after an exciting time at #RelativityFest 2024 learning about the amazing new Relativity AiR and telling the world about Dynamic Layouts - our exciting update to the LitSavant Conformity Engine Relativity Application. Dynamic Layouts allow you to set up a review coding form that begins simply and unfolds dynamically in response to user coding choices, so that relevant new questions follow the answers given and the user has a clear path to follow as they move through the streamlined coding process. It was great to be back in Chicago, to see old friends and make new ones, share insights and news, and enjoy the wonderful hospitality of Relativity. Thank you Relativity team for another great event.
