Congratulations to Jamison Zimmerman, CFM, for receiving the NJAFM (NJ Association for Floodplain Management)'s 2024 Outstanding Local Floodplain Management Official Award. Since Superstorm Sandy in 2012, Jamie has led our efforts in floodplain management, providing vital services to waterfront clients and serving as their designated floodplain officer. Ashton Jones, RVE's Planning and Landscape Architecture Department Head, presented on October 9 at Monarch Housing Associates' 2024 Housing as a Human Right Conference. Ashton was part of a panel discussion, expounding upon the process that drives the creation and implementation of municipal Housing Element and Fair Share Plans. RVE collaborated with the Middletown Township staff and the Stormwater Advisory Committee to create a funding plan for stormwater infrastructure upkeep and future upgrades. We hosted a Public Open House on October 14 at the Township's Public Hall to engage the community and share our recommendations. Exciting things are happening in downtown Allentown! Archer Music Hall, a stunning 31,000 sq. ft. event center, is set to be the go-to spot for live performances, conferences and private events. This premier venue, to be operated by Live Nation, has a versatile layout, accommodating up to 2,125 guests, with spaces for large events and small gatherings. RVE is proud to have played a role in bringing this project to life by providing land development, grading and stormwater management services.
