It's been nearly a week since we wrapped up our second annual Black Business Summit, and the excitement is still with us! A huge thank you to our very own Jerry Mathis, Timothy Russell, Nora Razón, and Gisel Martín for not only orchestrating this event but also for being active listeners in the communities we serve and working tirelessly to meet their needs. We also want to extend our gratitude to our wonderful CEO, Sharon Miller, for her relentless advocacy on behalf of small and Black-owned businesses throughout the Bay Area. A special shoutout to all of our guest speakers and panelists: Maurice Goodman, Chris Horton, Jermaine Carter-Gibson, Vaneese Johnson, Jonathan Makonnen, Hayley Village, and Marie Hampton. Your insights and contributions were invaluable. A special THANK YOU to our key partner, College of San Mateo, for not only hosting the event but also playing a crucial role in the planning and execution of the Black Business Summit.
