Yesterday, we had a successful third class in the Real Estate 101 Workshop series! It's inspiring to see so many enthusiastic students here at Florida State University eager to acquire essential skills for the commercial real estate industry. During this session, we delved into the intricacies of project cashflows, the art of determining NOI, the significance of assumptions, and the calculations behind IRR & NPV, highlighting their importance. However, our mission goes beyond the basics. We are nurturing these students to think like sophisticated commercial real estate investors and developers, unraveling the reasons behind investment decisions and empowering them to effectively utilize models. Our journey is not yet complete, as we have one more engaging session scheduled for next week.
