    In 2024, Pharma’s Reputation Score climbed into the Strong range following a promising 🔼 0.8-point increase. This upward shift signals a recovery for Pharma companies post-pandemic.     Trust and reputation are not the same thing 🙅♂️ Some reputation management companies may say that they are synonymous — but 20+ years of reputation monitoring have taught us that while trust and reputation are indeed connected, you need to measure and monitor them both. At RepTrak, we help Pharma companies navigate these delicate differences, so they can stand out as leaders in their industry. Our model quantifies how people feel, think, and act toward companies (and industries) globally. The Reputation Score reflects the emotional connection (the ‘‘feel’’) stakeholders have with companies. While Trust, on the other hand, is a stakeholder action measured in the suite of our Business Outcomes. These Outcomes measure the actions stakeholders are willing to take when supporting or engaging with a company. Despite the challenges Pharma has faced, the sector’s overall reputational health is on the mend. In H1 2024, Pharma’s Reputation Score stands at a Strong 70.2, while Trust To Do The Right Thing is at an Average 68.5. This means that while stakeholders have growing positive feelings towards Pharma, they’re less likely to trust them when an issue arises. ➡️ Companies that invest in a strategy that includes Reputation and Trust will be more likely to turn positive perceptions into consumer actions.     Has Pharma's credibility improved since the pandemic? 💉😷 As the industry faces tighter restrictions worldwide, stakeholders are paying close attention to whether Pharma adheres to ethical practices and acts with transparency. This is where our Conduct Driver comes in. Conduct is one of our seven Drivers reflecting how stakeholders think about Pharma's fairness, ethicality, and transparency — 3 essential factors for cultivating credibility. According to the 2024 Pharma report, Pharma's Conduct Score has seen improvement, moving into the Strong range with an exact score of 70.0 ( 🔼  1.4 points). However, it remains the lowest of all seven Drivers. This highlights the continued pressure on Pharma to not only meet the standards of growing regulations but to operate under them in an increasingly scrutinized environment.
