🌍 Impact in Action: Scaling From Clean-up Drives to Waste Management Experts ♻️ On the west coast of India, bordering the Arabian Sea, our local impact partner Mangala Resource Management (MRM) has experienced an incredible growth trajectory. Through the collaboration with rePurpose Global, the setup has evolved from a group of volunteers running clean-up drives into a full-fledged waste management company serving hundreds of villages. The operational and financial support from rePurpose Global made the establishment of the first Material Recovery Facility (MRF) under our Impact Project Anmol Kinara feasible. This also served as a catalyst for refining their operational model. The team is now recognized as a preferred partner for operating additional rural MRFs in the region, further expanding their capacity and resultant impact. With rePurpose Global’s support over the last two years, the MRM has exponentially scaled its operations and has gained critical expertise in ✅ optimizing waste management supply chains, ✅ building robust traceability systems, and ✅ enhancing compliance through effective documentation, health, and safety protocols. Our Project Anmol Kinara has undergone three third-party audits since 2022, with no critical gaps identified. These audits confirm continuous improvements in documentation and on-ground processes, further validating the project’s credibility This collaboration has not only facilitated formal job creation and increased access to rural waste management but has also changed local perceptions toward waste management. Growth Milestone: Thanks to the strong foundation, our Impact Partner was investment-ready and is formally engaging with the local government, securing the expansion of their efforts to new areas! This success story exemplifies that with the right operational and financial support, grassroots projects can become scalable solutions - protecting coastlines and creating sustainable employment opportunities. The rePurpose Global BASE Framework: Driving Impact for a Circular Future 🌿 We’re tackling one of the world’s most urgent challenges: plastic pollution. Our BASE Framework for creating impact helps implement systemic solutions that address broken waste management systems, especially in the most vulnerable geographies. What is BASE? BASE stands for Baseline, Additionality, Solution, Evaluation—the core steps that each of rePurpose Global’s plastic recovery impact projects goes through to recover plastic waste and prevent plastic pollution. Baseline: We scientifically establish baselines for collection and recycling rates, along with other relevant data, to identify regions that need intervention. Additionality: We design bespoke solutions for each region to create environmental outcomes over and above the established baselines. For those who enjoy the technical side, this creation of impact above a business-as-usual scenario is the principle of ‘Additionality’ and a process of 'additionality modeling. Solution design and implementation: Each project is designed, piloted, and eventually onboarded, through a bespoke collaboration - that includes a local impact partner, communities, and often local government - to run in line with our industry-leading standards and protocols. The project from here goes to operate day-to-day collection, transportation, processing, and ethical recovery of plastic waste. Evaluation: We set up projects to have a constant stream of data collection and triangulated verification that includes real-time measurement, verification, validation, and chain of custody documentation through our reTrace™ platform. Multiple layers of internal and independent audits guarantee verified impact creation across the world that can be trusted.

🌍 Every rePurpose Global impact project creates lasting change—beyond just cleaning up plastic. Our mission goes beyond plastic recovery. Along with our brand partners, the rePurpose Global coalition is driving One Planet Impact which safeguards the environment, uplifts communities, and empowers people to build a sustainable future. Through our work, we are leading the charge on plastic action, but the true impact reaches much further. Here’s how One Planet Impact is making a difference through three core pillars: 1. Protecting the Environment Our global impact projects have recovered 70 million+ pounds of plastic waste, stopping it from polluting rivers, oceans, and landscapes. By focusing on particularly vulnerable and fragile ecosystems, we’re restoring wildlife habitats and biodiversity hotspots across the globe. 2. Strengthening Communities We partner with local communities to strengthen waste management services and create systemic change in areas that are most impacted by the plastic pollution crisis. By partnering with local organizations and providing support and resources to grow, we are setting up regular waste management systems where oftentimes none existed before. Our projects drive long-term solutions that not only tackle plastic pollution but also support economic growth and social well-being creating lasting, sustainable futures. 3. Empowering People Waste workers are at the core of the solution. Our projects ensure dignified work, fair wages, and safe working conditions for over 2000+ workers, creating social equity in the fight against plastic pollution. These waste warriors are critical to our impact, and we are committed to improving their livelihoods as they help recover millions of pounds of plastic waste. Plastic waste crisis - is a humanitarian crisis as much as an environmental one. With the One Planet Impact model, we recognize the intersection of environmental protection, social justice, and economic opportunity. Join us in our mission to create a world where environmental protection, community well-being, and human dignity are inextricably linked with solving the global plastic waste crisis.
