What a lovely time REquipment had at the Mass Councils on Aging's Annual Meeting in Falmouth, Cape Cod, last Friday. REquipment is statewide, and that means we serve Cape Cod and the islands, too! Staff from the Walpole COA stopped by our table to sing our praises. They are sending seniors and families to REquipment for our free, gently used home medical equipment. Available now! 14 different pediatric standers and standing frames in different sizes and styles. These are no-cost, gently used devices for residents of Massachusetts. Standers are important for the health, development, and well-being of many children with disabilities. They are often not covered by insurance, or the process is so long and arduous that months are lost in crucial development as the case is made for obtaining one. A stander from REquipment is sometimes used to "prove" a child can benefit so insurance will approve a new one. They are also often kept until the child outgrows it and moves on to another from our inventory or another source. Share this post to help get the word out to families. These devices may be delivered anywhere in the state for just $20. Check them out by visiting: https://lnkd.in/eUn4mtAm #DurableMedicalEquipment #AssistiveTechnology #Reuse #Massachusetts #SaveThePlanet #A11y #InclusionMatters #Families #Caregiver #Pediatric The video below shows a rotation of eight different types of standers in our inventory; some are there now.
