At Lund University, Oksana Mont's Urban Sharing ERC research project critically assessed the sustainability impacts of sharing economy organisations, debunking the myth that such models inherently drive sustainability. The project offered tools for sustainable business models, social impact assessment and resilience, and helped municipalities influence the sharing economy for urban sustainability in mobility, housing, and asset sharing. Researchers at Sorbonne Université’s startup BiomemoryLabs found a solution: 🧬 DNA storage, an innovative technology that can replace current archival media.
