Non-profit Organizations

The European network gathering and supporting independent cultural and media organisations.

About us

Reset! is a European network launched at the end of 2021 as part of the Creative Europe program. It has been designed and built to document the situation of independent culture and media across Europe and beyond, empower its members as well as to advocate for a re-positioning of independence as a core value in the cultural sector. Building upon the French "Appel des Indépendants" launched in March 2020 by Arty Farty in the context of the pandemic, it aims to create a new cultural and social contract at European level. Reset! brings together a large range of diverse cultural and media organisations committed to supporting independence, freedom of expression, diversity, inclusion, and sustainable development.

Germany has been grappling with the contradictions of its historical guilt and its current political stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, leading to the repression of Palestinian culture and solidarity within its borders. Reset! network commissionned Zaina S., Palestinian event organiser, curator, booker, and writer to explore how the fight for cultural independence serves as a vital form of resistance against both historical injustices and contemporary political repression in Germany. 🇵🇸 🔗 Link to read full article in the comments ⬇️

Directeur du pôle Idées d'Arty Farty ~ Co-coordinateur du réseau Reset!

Today I’m very happy and grateful to attend the very first edition of 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀𝟮𝗡𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲 in Berlin at silent green with my colleague Manon Moulin and many other partners/friends. S2N is a one day-event celebrating the vibrant community radios scene accross Europe, with talks, screening, arts installations, and of course radio broadcasts 📻 Reset! network is thrilled to host two formats there: 1️⃣ The workshop "𝘈𝘥𝘷𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘰𝘴: 𝘛𝘪𝘱𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘴" facilitated by Princela Biyaa, Lara Lemac, Sydney Nwakanma, and Kimani Schumann from Cycles Studio. The founder of Dublin Digital Radio Sean Finnan—who's also a Reset! member—will present his advocacy experience in Ireland. I’ll be also sharing a few elements of how Reset! envisions its advocacy role to support independent cultural and media organisations. 2️⃣ The talk "𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘰𝘴: 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘢, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯" with an all-star casting of community radios—also Reset! members: Peter Bokor (MMN / Lahmacun Radio), Samantha Lippett (ICRN / Palanga Street Radio), Ieva Gudaityte Gudaytité (ICRN), moderated by the one and only Manon Moulin. We are very proud with Reset! to be part of such a great initiative since advocacy for community radios is one of our focus. With around 10 members representing this medium within the network, we aim to raise our voice in order to provide a better support for these media in the future given the role they play at a local and European level in supporting local music scene, fostering artistic diversity and empowering a new generation of cultural actors. It’s actually one of the policy proposals we shaped in the Reset! 𝘼𝙩𝙡𝙖𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖: you can read more about it in the link in the comment of this post. Thanks a lot to Samantha, Ieva, Lucia, Matteo from Cashmere Radio and all the S2N team for the trust and for welcoming Reset! network. Congrats for organising such an important gathering of like-minded peers. More infos about S2N programme in the comment. See you there! #communityradio #advocacy #resetnetwork #reset #Berlin
