Meet Zach Flynn! He works as a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Support - Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Technician at ResourceTek, specifically assigned to the Factory Planning Team at a leading automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) located in Vance, AL. He began this assignment through ResourceTek in March 2019. His role involves supporting various aspects of the planning process, including layouts, drawings, and models for projects such as expansions and new buildings. Zach enjoys the diversity of projects at the OEM, particularly the opportunity to witness and contribute to the entire planning lifecycle of major projects. This involvement from initial planning through completion is what he finds most rewarding. His journey to ResourceTek came after working as a Product Engineer in Anniston for four years post-college. He earned his Bachelor of Science – Applied Manufacturing Design and Automation in 2016. The decision to change roles was motivated by a desire to reduce his commuting time and find a new challenge. This led him to apply for and quickly secure a position with ResourceTek after seeing a job posting in the CAD field. In addition to his professional role, he recently became a father, with his son born in September 2023. He and his wife also share their home with a cat named Skylar. Outside of work and family life, Zach's interests include carpentry and crafting, where he has applied his CAD skills to design and build furniture for his son's nursery and other projects around the house. He also enjoys spending free time with friends and engaging in activities like Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons. Overall, his experience at ResourceTek has been fulfilling, allowing him to leverage his skills in CAD and BIM while enjoying a variety of projects and balancing his growing family life. #EmployeeSpotlight #ResourceTek

Meet Melissa Moore, our Senior Technical Recruiter out of the Columbus, Georgia office. Melissa joined ResourceTek in 2018 with over 15 years of experience in full life cycle recruiting. Her favorite part about recruiting is that she loves partnering with her clients and searching for candidates for a variety of positions; it's never the same thing. She loves the challenge of conducting deep-dive searches, enjoys working with her Account Manager, Mike, and is continuously learning from him. She also loves her teammates, even though they don't see each other every day, they are a close-knit group.
