For most, a blister or cut on the foot is a small inconvenience that a Band-Aid™ and time will heal, but that’s not the case for the nearly 38.4 million Americans who have diabetes. Complications of diabetes, like neuropathy and peripheral vascular diseases, make feet vulnerable to ulcers that can lead to infection and even amputation. This November, RestorixHealth champions National Diabetes Month as a unique opportunity to raise awareness on the importance of wound care and prevention for those with diabetes. For more information about our wound care solutions and how we can help patients with diabetes-related wounds, visit www.RestorixHealth.com. #WhereHealingHappens 📷: MLK Community Healthcare (Los Angeles, CA)

This includes those who are undergoing treatment and those who have completed it. While breast cancer treatments are often successful in eliminating the cancer, they can have long-lasting effects months or even years after treatment ends, like: 1️⃣ Non-healing surgical wounds 2️⃣ Compromised skin grafts or surgical flaps 3️⃣ Internal or external radiation wounds or injuries For those with wounds related to cancer treatment, wound care is essential. 💗 RestorixHealth committed to restoring health and improving the quality of life of survivors in need of advanced wound care.
