Today #SCOTUS⚖ ruled in Grants Pass v. Johnson to allow municipalities to tailor laws to their communities to address the complex issue of public encampments. Retailers appreciate the Court’s action allowing policymakers to access all ‘tools in the policy toolbox’ and remain committed to working collaboratively to improve the vibrancy of communities across the country. The federal policy decisions made over the next four years will have major impacts on America’s leading retailers. How the next president deals with corporate #taxes and international #trade will dictate how retailers operate, invest in their workforce and local communities—millions of jobs & billions in #supplychain investments and economic development will be impacted by these decisions. In tonight's #debate we hope the candidates from both political parties address these issues with the seriousness they deserve. #Election2024 #RetailLeaders https://lnkd.in/e66JPAW5
