So proud to support Ignite Reading on its mission to ensure that all students are confident readers by the end of 1st grade. 📚 Excited to see how this new funding continues to expand its online literacy tutoring program in schools and districts across the U.S. Congrats to Jessica Reid Sliwerski and the entire Ignite team! 🎉 👏
This growth investment represents another important step towards Ignite Reading's goal of solving the nation's literacy crisis head-on by teaching at least 1 million 1st graders how to read. As our CEO Jessica Reid Sliwerski points out, "If we can ensure students have mastered foundational reading skills to achieve reading fluency by the end of 1st grade, studies show 83% will be on-grade-level readers in third grade." #K12Education #Education #LiteracyMatters
