We were thrilled to host an educational event sponsored by RxSight, Inc., where Ophthalmologists gathered to learn about the innovative Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) and Light Delivery Device (LDD) services offered at RASC.   We were honored to have Dr. Jeffrey L. Martin, MD, FACS, Co-Founder and President of SightMD, as our guest speaker. He shared his insights and clinical success with the open access business model for LAL and LDD. A special shoutout to Dr. Kenneth Rosenthal, Surgeon Director at Fifth Avenue Eye Care and Rosenthal Eye Surgery, who discussed how to deliver patients a full range of vision with the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL). Retinal Ambulatory Surgery Center of New York, INC. had a fantastic evening hosting an Educational Dinner sponsored by Alcon Surgical on Thursday, June 27th. This event was perfect for Ophthalmologists wishing to learn about the Centurion Phaco with new Active Sentry Technology and Image-Guided Surgery.  During the event, Senior Equipment Manager, Lee Sisco, provided valuable insights into the new Active Sentry Technology. The technology allows surgeons to operate at a more physiological IOP with excellent anterior chamber stability and surgical efficiency.  Dr. Eric Rosenberg introduced Image Guided Surgery. This technology is great for remote planning with the Argos Biometer to ORA to minimize transcription error and reference images can be sent to your DMM (Digital Marker Microscope) for image guided surgery.
