🚨UPS just announced its 2025 GRI. Effective December 23, (2024 🤔 ), UPS rates will increase an average of 5.9%. This is an early effective date this year and places UPS in prime position to capitalize on a sliver of the 2024 Peak Season. Someone please notify Santa not to use Next Day Air. But wait, there's more. Several new changes will take effect as early as October 21st. (Yes, this October 21st). 1) UPS is updating the list of ZIP codes to which Area Surcharges apply ** I expect more metropolitan areas will be subject to DAS / EDAS ** 2) ZIP codes aligned to certain Zones will also change 3) Additional Handling will be subject to 40 lb. minimum billable weight 4) Invoices paid via credit card will receive a surcharge equal to 2% ** Effective October 26, 2024 ** Stay tuned — I'll be breaking down these changes in more detail soon. #Reveel #Parcel #UPS #ShippingRates https://lnkd.in/gMkeywW2
