If you missed the RTC UK Black History Month celebrations, here’s just a peek into everything we did! 🎉🌟 Thank you to all our members, Ambassadors, and the incredible list of influential women who joined us to celebrate Black Heritage with inspiring dinners and the launch of our UK chapter of the Black Wings community.

We are proud to be partnering with Molg! To tackle the growing e-waste problem, Molg enables circular manufacturing with robotics and design. Its robotic microfactories can autonomously disassemble complex electronic products, and the team partners with leading manufacturers to design electronics with reuse in mind — ensuring one product’s end is another’s new beginning. As part of our partnership, Molg is excited to increase awareness of career opportunities that blend sustainability with engineering and design. With grant funding from the Department of Energy, Molg will train and hire robotics technicians and circular product designers as part of a core team focused on improving battery material recovery from discarded laptops using our microfactories. They are also collaborating with leading OEMs to design new laptops that are easier to reuse, refurbish, and recycle. RTC is a critical partner in helping Molg reach underrepresented talent in design, engineering, and manufacturing. The entire team looks forward to engaging with the RTC community—catch them throughout the year at RTC panels and recruiting events!

#SHPE2024 was everything we expected and more! 💪🌟👑 Meeting so many talented Hispanic and Latina women in tech, connecting with our partners in the expo hall, and catching up with our Latinas de RTC crew in person was an unforgettable experience. Thank you to SHPE and our industry partner, Bank of America, for creating an inspiring experience for the RTC community and team! 🙌

Networking, networking, networking! 🤝 On top of the SWE activities last week, we had the honor of joining the Belvedere Trading, LLC team for breakfast in Chicago with a surprise cameo from their CEO! 🥞☕️ We are grateful to the entire Belvedere team for getting to know the community and providing valuable career guidance, interview strategies, information on available positions across various departments, and the opportunity to job shadow traders and engineers. ✨

RTC x #WE24 was a success! 💃🪩 The RTC team and community took on Chi-town, and we had a blast networking, learning, trying new coffee spots, and getting to know you all. Joining our growing list of UK Partnerships hosting events with the RTC UK community are KCL Womxn in STEM and the University of Nottingham Women in Engineering Society! 🤩💡✨ Both organizations aim to provide an inclusive and welcoming space for women through academic talks, workshops, mentorship, and a thriving community that encourages members' professional development.

Last night, RTC members joined Reddit, Inc.'s Software Engineers, Emerging Talent team, and past interns for dinner at the Reddit headquarters in the windy city! 🌬🏙✨ This event provided the community with an opportunity to network with the Reddit team and discuss topics ranging from tackling imposter syndrome to insights about life at Reddit and much more. Thank you, Reddit, for helping the RTC community kick off their #WE24 week feeling inspired and motivated! 👏
