We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve closed our $10M Series A! This capital is not only a testament to the entire Rezilient team’s relentless commitment to our customers, partners, and the families we continue to serve, it also sets the foundation for growing our impact across more communities that are suffocating under the weight of the traditional U.S. healthcare industry. The round was led by Govo Venture Partners with participation from Bridge Ventures, Acorn Pacific Ventures, The Council, Jim McKelvey (Co-Founder of Block, formerly Square), Mark and Robyn Jones (Founders of Goosehead Insurance), Jeremy Friese, MD (Founder of Verata Health), and David Karandish (Founder of Answers.com). We’re going to use this capital to give more people access to quality, convenient healthcare — regardless of where they are on the economic spectrum — by scaling the results we’ve already seen in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. Our goal from day one has been the same as it is today: flip the traditional healthcare model on its head and deliver care that centers a transparent relationship between patients and their care team, in the communities that are typically overlooked by the innovation economy. We’re building a truly tech-enabled system under one roof. Rezilient members can access all their care needs in one place: primary care, 73 types of specialty care, plus in-house labs, virtual care, and 24/7 messaging. The difference between day one and today is that hundreds of businesses have trusted us with the healthcare of their people. Find out more in our blog post: https://lnkd.in/eg-e9n2z

Embodying transparency and ethics, protecting patients from hidden costs, and creating a healthcare system that truly serves its people were the overarching themes at Health Rosetta's annual Rosettafest in Washington DC last week. The Rezilient team left with a feeling that folks like Adam Berkowitz, RHU, Laurie MacDonald, and Herb Catausan, GBA, plus many others are the driving force behind a movement that has real momentum. They're enabling employers to build better health plans that have the potential to change the lives of their people: both financially and with dramatically better health outcomes. Not only that, but those employers are seeing incredible savings that they can put back into their businesses. It's a clear win for everyone involved (except the current healthcare system 🤓 )

Had an incredible time at Health Rosetta’s annual Rosettafest in DC last week. This was my third year attending the conference and this year FELT different. The overarching feeling was that we as a community are finally making a dent. The momentum is rising. The employers who took the leap to build better health plans (including those that embedded high value primary care) are able to share their stories with others. It is no longer an experiment, it’s now a movement. Grateful for the opportunity to speak about our experience serving Quality Collision Group and hundreds of other employers. Grateful to meet with old friends and make new ones. The current healthcare system only serves one thing: itself. Despite spending trillions of dollars, our healthcare system has left 100 million Americans in debt. The cost of care has become a leading cause of death due to half of Americans avoiding care because of cost. This movement is about freedom - freedom from financial burdens, bureaucratic constraints, and to create a system that serves its people.

Couldn't agree more, Richard Westermayer. Teah Zilch embodies our ethos here at Rezilient: get people access to the quality care they need, when they need it. We're lucky to have her on the team!

Friday @ 4:30 PM CT: ☎️ Frantic incoming phone call from a client in Houston. “I forgot to send the 9/1 enrollments and my employee who just enrolled is sick.” Me: “Thank goodness we have Rezilient, I bet we can get an appt without proof of enrollment.” - Shoots off quick email to RH team…. People like Teah Zilch are the real healthcare heroes. Getting people access to care is not a task that should be taken lightly. The folks at Rezilient Health are removing barriers to care and making it easy for people to get what they need, when they need it. Thanks for making this one happen Teah!

If you had told me in mid-2022 what Rezilient Health would achieve in the next two years, I would have been speechless. Which, for those who know me, THAT NEVER HAPPENS.  We’ve partnered with over three hundred businesses across the country with tens of thousands of members giving their employees same day access to healthcare across 73 specialties with $0 out of pocket costs. Many Americans are delaying or going without recommended medical tests and treatments, even when they have insurance. High deductibles mean people avoid getting healthcare until they desperately need to, even when they’ve been given medical advice to monitor their conditions. For businesses with Rezilient, this problem goes away entirely. We’ve partnered with large cooperatives like Health Transformation Alliance, the largest group purchasing organization in the US that represents companies like Coca-Cola, American Express, Marriott, Boeing and JPMorgan. Today, employees at Prudential, EY, and Linde can already access Rezilient with $0 out of pocket costs. We expanded into Texas last year and are expanding into Oklahoma this year, opening CloudClinics in areas with limited healthcare options. This means people won’t have to wait months or travel hours for access to care. We have the case studies and experience to prove not only cost savings but also better health outcomes with Rezilient. Employers across the country are experiencing point solution fatigue. They’re actively reevaluating their grab-bag of point solutions — those targeted to a single condition, such as headaches or diabetes or pregnancy — particularly when it’s unclear if there’s any real ROI in the form of cost savings or improved health outcomes for their employees. Rezilient will eliminate this problem as we increasingly deliver specialty solutions for our customers. Despite our CloudClinics being a totally new technology enabled care experience for patients, very few people ever mention the tech. Instead, they talk about how great our CloudClinic team is and how much time their PCP spent with them. It’s always been about the people and the best technology helps people connect. And finally, but most importantly, our people. In two years, our team has tripled in size across clinical, operations, engineering, marketing, and member experience. We’ve found some of the most dedicated and hardworking folks around. They’re the ones driving this rocketship forward! We’ve got more big news coming in the next 6-12 months. Stay tuned to hopefully see me SPEECHLESS again!
