The Lincoln High School Physical Education Center Is Here! 🎉🏫 Exciting news! The Lincoln High School Physical Education Center is now finished, thanks to our collaboration with Ahlborg Construction and Downes Project Managers. Last week marked an incredible moment as officials and residents joined in the grand opening of this highly anticipated new facility. The $8.2 million building is fully complete with two full athletic courts, an indoor practice track, custom Lincoln Lion wall mats, and state-of-the-art scoreboards. Additionally, the PEC is the first net-zero school building in the state, featuring solar panels that generate more energy than the building consumes which is a significant stride toward sustainability. While not open for general use to the public, the PEC will host parks and recreation activities and youth leagues affiliated with the town, in addition to being available for LHS students. A huge thanks to Ahlborg Construction Corporation, DOWNES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY and our incredible team at RGB Architects for making this vision a reality! Filippelli will host the event, commencing at 6 p.m. with speeches from officials, followed by the ribbon cutting and dedication.
