How many portable platforms are in your facility? You use these mini platforms for handling, storing, or moving materials and packages. You probably call them pallets, or you MIGHT call them one of your primary sources for serious work-related injuries. According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), workplace injuries related to pallet movement is still on the rise - whether you use a forklift, a cart, or, God forbid, manual labor. It’s time to incorporate Pallet-moving robots. This cool innovation is more than the latest manufacturing trend; these auto-movers can virtually eliminate physical damages to your workplace – AND your workers. Call Rhino Tool House and ask us about TUSK robots. We are the exclusive distributor and foremost application designers of Tusk robot solutions across North America. It’s easier and more affordable than you think to incorporate these pallet-moving robots into your operation. Imagine being empowered with intelligent logistics to make your work-place a smart factory - and make material handling simpler, safer and more efficient.

You can get used to living with a cluttered workflow - But there is a good chance that there is a better way to manage your workflows, no matter how well you think it's going. One recent installation utilized a conveyor system in a production cell that was positioned between two active assembly lines and it was a major game-changer. How was it done before the Rhino conveyor system was installed? Forklifts moved parts to the line, which of course means it was not an automated workflow. In addition to other delays, operators frequently paused their work to clear empty boxes, which was slow, cumbersome, and basically unsafe. With this new conveyor system installed, the process is relatively seamless. Yes, the forklift operator still delivers full boxes to the line, but now an overhead crane lifts / unloads parts boxes where they are effortlessly pushed along a U-shaped conveyor system. What a difference. This new automated solution from Rhino Tool House reduces downtime and keeps the lines running smoothly. Working closely with the customer and watching the process carefully, we also made a crucial adjustment—removing the conveyor legs and setting it all flush with the ground. This change eliminated the need for operators to step into the box, making the unloading process more ergonomic and efficient. Small changes, big impact! If you’re looking to optimize your production process, we can have one of our Sales Engineers perform a complimentary line walk. #Manufacturing #Automation #Efficiency #ProcessImprovement #RhinoToolHouse

Sometimes at Rhino Tool House we are fortunate enough to get involved with projects that contribute to making life better for others. Here is a statistic a lot of us simply aren’t aware of: 60% of the world's population still hand washes clothes, a task that consumes an average of 20 hours per week. Enter The Washing Machine Project, a grassroots social enterprise based in the U.K. aiming to alleviate the burden of handwashing clothes and empower women by providing remote, low income and displaced communities with an accessible, off-grid washing solution. Steve Griffin, Rhino Tool House sales engineer, through his connections with Whirlpool was invited alongside five other suppliers to assemble 38 Divya Washing Machines as a part of their Supplier Appreciation Day. Steve's contribution of torque tools and his help with joint strategy played a crucial role in the assembly process, and we're honored that Steve could contribute to a project that's improving lives globally.
