Your prep surface should protect your food, not spoil it. Standard white poly boards are so easy to cut and gouge that food particles can get trapped, breeding bacteria that transfers to everything you make. That's just one of the reasons chefs love Richlite prep surfaces. They resist all those cuts and gouges. Plus they're antimicrobial and won't warp in high-heat dishwashers—so they're extremely easy to sanitize. Learn more about why chefs are switching to Richlite: https://lnkd.in/g-NPKTqH

The central atrium staircase at Hunters Hill is designed as a bespoke architectural art installation. It's made entirely of Richlite. Commissioned with artist Lisa Traxler and architect Lincoln Miles, they relied on Richlite's unique combination of strength, aesthetics, and machinability. Richlite is dense and consistent throughout, making it an ideally machinable material with no blowouts. It doesn't chip or crack, even with intricate patterns. Combine that with impressive flexural and deflective strength, and its unique tactile appeal, and you have a material that doesn't just work for your designs—it makes possible new ways of designing. The result is a fully functional, one-of-a-kind art piece that will stand the test of time.

Standard white plastic cutting boards start melting and burning at only 185°F. You know what's hotter than 185°? Pretty much anything you just cooked. Not to mention the tools you used to cook it. In other words—white poly boards can't take the heat. So it's time to get them out of your kitchen. Richlite food prep surfaces are high-heat safe up to 🔥350°F🔥 So not only are they safer for hot foods than your standard plastic boards. But they're extremely easy to sanitize—with no risk of warping or melting in the dishwasher. It's just one reason their knife-safe surface lasts up to 5x longer than plastic. Most chefs already know that their white poly cutting boards are far from ideal. Cuts and gouges. Food stains and smells. Hard to truly sanitize. Even with constant replacement they become a breeding ground for bacteria. Not to mention shedding microplastics from day one. But until recently you didn't have many viable alternatives. Richlite prep surfaces changed that. Richlite is a paper composite material that's so durable that it's used to surface X-Games skateboard ramps. So it lasts up to 5x longer than plastic boards **without** dulling your knives. Plus it's naturally antimicrobial and heat-resistant up to 350°. So you're always confident you have a sanitary surface when you need one. Learn more about Richlite prep surfaces here: https://lnkd.in/g-NPKTqH

Hunters Hill is a luxury country home hiding a secret. It's situated on two acres in the Surrey Hills, featuring a heated swimming pool and large windows and sliding doors. What you'd never know from looking at it is that it's an A-rated low energy home. Sustainability undergirds the whole design. Even the pool is heated with the house's two ground source heat pumps during the summer, which simultaneously keeps the house cool. Richlite was specified for exterior cladding because it combines three crucial strengths: 1. Legendary durability 2. Tactile aesthetics 3. Sustainable materials When it comes to sustainable, high-end architecture, Richlite's unique strengths make it an ideal material. The result is a beautiful estate that's a model of low-energy design.

Chefs know that your food is only as clean as where you prep it. But until recently you've had to choose: Either soft white poly boards that get cut and gouged, making a breeding ground for bacteria. Or hard surfaces like stainless steel that destroy your knives. Richlite prep surfaces give you the best of both worlds. Richlite is naturally antimicrobial and stands up to restaurant use without gouging. But it protects your knife edges, extending their useful life.
