We're proud to see USAF wearing Ricochet Gear in their video kicking off National Fire Prevention Week! #WearSomethingSafer #RicochetGear #Firefighter #FireSafety 🔥
Kick off National Fire Prevention Week with USAF Firefighter, SrA Kim, as he hosts his own GRWM at Ramstein AB, Germany 🔥 This year, Fire Prevention Week takes place from 06 to 12 October with an official theme of "Smoke alarms: make them work for you!" According to the data gathered by NFPA, roughly three out of five fire deaths occur in homes with either no smoke alarms or no working smoke alarms. To reduce these statistics, and align with fire safety guidelines, check out these valuable tips below: • Install smoke alarms in every bedroom, outside each separate sleeping area (like a hallway), and on each level (including the basement) of the home. • Make sure smoke alarms meet the needs of all family members, including those with sensory or physical disabilities. • Test smoke alarms at least once a month by pushing the test button. • Replace all smoke alarms when they are 10 years old or don’t respond when tested. We’re thankful for our dedicated firefighters who work diligently to mitigate dangers our communities may face. Give a shoutout to a USAF firefighter in the comments below 👇
