From Project Coordinator to Program Manager, Matt has had an incredible journey at Ring. In 2022, he was encouraged to introduce his idea for a new team. His pitch led to the creation of a Trial Support team in Ring’s Insights and Research organization. These teams work to understand our customers and incorporate their feedback into our products. “The vision of Ring really resonated with me and I saw the massive potential it had to bring people closer and create connections in the community,” shares Matt. “The idea of being able to work closely with customers and advocate for their needs in the products really excited me.” As Program Manager for the Trial Support team, Matt plays a crucial role in the product development process. “My team and I are the last line of defense before a product or feature gets to customers. We make sure all the kinks and pain points are ironed out so customers have a delightful experience with our products.” Matt has learned that many of the challenges and innovations at Ring are unprecedented. “Many of the problems we were trying to solve are huge and have never done before. With that comes the ‘fail fast’ mentality - experiment, try something, test it, validate it. If it works, keep going; if it fails, try a different approach.” He adds, “When you're solving challenging problems, not everything will work and that's okay.
