Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender Brandon Purdy has delivered customized banking solutions for his clients in San Antonio and the surrounding markets for the past 17 years. Brandon graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Finance before moving on to pursue a MBA from Texas A&M University San Antonio. Vice President, Trust Investment Officer, Corey Mowen has been involved with business management for over 10 years with his last 5 years in wealth management. Corey currently serves on the Mission Engagement Committee for Morgan’s, Board of the Financial Planning Association of San Antonio & South Texas, and Summerfield Home Owner’s Association, along with many others. His love for serving the community and golfing has him serving on a number of golf tournament committees. Corey holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science from Texas Tech University, he is a Doctor of Physical Therapy from UT Health San Antonio, and he has a Master’s Degree of Science in Personal Finance from the College for Financial Planning. He is completing his second Master’s Degree of Science in Financial Analysis and graduating in December of 2025. Corey is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Additionally, he is a CFA Level I candidate. We are very glad to have Corey with us at Rio Bank!

Rio Bank has announced the appointment of Annie Uribe Turner to the bank’s board of directors. Turner has a 40-year career in banking, where she previously managed a diverse team of bankers and oversaw a substantial portfolio of commercial loans and deposits, focusing on helping businesses achieve their financial goals. A 2022 alumna of the Masters Leadership Program of Greater San Antonio, Annie has also held leadership roles with several boards including Lead San Antonio, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber, the San Antonio Women’s Hall of Fame Board, and as a member of the YWCA Wage Equity Advisory Council.
