Risch Results is teaming up with UTD! We are thrilled to be part of the UTDsolv Capstone Senior Project. Our project teams will be performing a detailed SWOT analysis for Risch Results to assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, providing insights to enhance operations, explore growth opportunities, and improve client experiences. One team is focusing on our retained search business and another team on our growing outsourced recruiting service for companies that are doing consistent hiring. The collaboration will offer students hands-on business analysis experience while delivering valuable recommendations for Risch Results' future success. We love collaborating with students and hearing their fresh, innovative perspectives. Happy Fall! It's officially fall even though in Texas it might not feel like fall. Here's what our team loves about the season. Charmaine Davis: "I love pumpkins, everything pumpkin-spiced, and fall fashion! The changing colors of the leaves are such a beautiful prelude to the holiday season, which is always a favorite time of year. This fall, I'm excited to use my crockpot and experiment with some new soup recipes." Kristen Davis: "I love the cooler weather and chunky sweaters of fall, as well as the changing colors of the leaves. Even though in DFW the transition often goes from green to bare, I find beauty in the bare trees as much as in the colorful ones. I also enjoy pumpkins in various forms—pumpkin soups and roasted pumpkin—though I'm not a fan of pumpkin spice." Nicole Stasick: "I absolutely love everything about fall—the vibrant colors, cozy fashion, and cooler temperatures. Plus, college football is in full swing, and I'm all about those Texas Longhorns! Jolene Risch: "Fall holds a special place in my heart because my birthday is on October 18th! Since my kids moved away, I've turned this time of year into a tradition of spending time with them. Ask the Recruiter! Resume tips! We asked our recruiters to share resume writing advice. Kristen Graves: "Avoid using outdated or irrelevant information, long chronological formats, unformatted layouts, or resumes generated by LinkedIn or Canva. Instead, make sure your resume is concise, relevant, properly formatted, includes your contact details, and matches the job you're applying for." Charmaine Davis: "Including a career objective on your resume provides a quick snapshot of your goals and background, helping employers understand what you're looking for. It can also clarify gaps or transitions in your work history, making your resume stand out and encouraging employers to consider your application more favorably." Nicole Stasick: "Include metrics and specific numbers to quantify your achievements. For example, instead of saying "increased sales," specify "increased sales by 25% over six months."
