Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a dinner for 12 friends who lead Human Resources for their organizations. Our friend Kyle Minick prepared an incredible homemade spread featuring shakshuka, vegan moussaka, freshly baked flatbread, and a beautiful, chopped salad. Though Kyle isn’t a professional chef—he’s actually a VP at Summit Financial Group, Inc.—his passion for cooking and bringing people together truly shined. What made the evening special was the warm atmosphere as guests arrived. Some knew each other, but most didn’t, yet everyone was immediately welcoming and open. The room quickly filled with laughter and joyful connections. After dinner, Kyle led a heartfelt discussion on gratitude. We each took a moment to reflect on someone in our lives we wanted to thank—whether it was a long-overdue expression of appreciation or just another opportunity to recognize their impact. It was a beautiful evening filled with delicious food, meaningful conversations, and shared moments of gratitude.
