This annual observance is dedicated to recognizing and honoring individuals living in long-term care facilities, as well as those receiving care in their homes or communities. It serves as a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the dignity, rights, and individuality of everyone receiving long-term services and supports. A special thanks to Mayor Picozzi for personally presenting us with this Proclamation. Residents' Rights Month highlights the fundamental right to self-determination, empowering residents to make their own choices and express their personal needs and desires.
