Making a Difference, One Ramp at a Time 💚 Continuing a long history of supporting the community, team members from Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital (RSMH), alongside their families, volunteered their time and partnered with the Eastern Shore of Virginia Housing Mission for a special project—building the first ramp for an Eastern Shore resident in need. This time, it was for a gentleman who is an amputee and uses a wheelchair for mobility. The new ramp, replacing unsafe steps, now allows him to safely and easily enter and exit his home, restoring a sense of freedom and independence. “This effort embodies Riverside’s mission: ‘to care for others as we would care for those we love - to enhance their well-being and improve their health,’” says Nick Chuquín, MSHA, FACHE, President of RSMH. “Our team members live this mission every day, serving our community not only within the walls of our hospital but wherever there's a need.” We are incredibly proud of the dedication and compassion shown by the team members at RSMH, who look forward to the next ramp build in the spring. Together, they are making a difference, one project at a time.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 🚀 After evaluating several solutions and a successful two-month pilot, Riverside Health is now expanding Abridge’s generative AI platform to clinicians across specialties and care settings under a new enterprise-wide agreement. 📊 Key outcomes from the pilot: • 61% reduction in cognitive load: Clinicians can now dedicate more time to focusing on their patients instead of paperwork. • 55% decrease in burnout rate: Clinicians are empowered to do what they love—deliver care—because they are freed from administrative burden, the primary driver of burnout, ultimately improving both retention and access to care. 💬 “We partnered with Abridge to support our clinicians and improve care for our patients. The platform has delivered on that and so much more,” said Charles Frazier, MD, FAAFP, Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Information and Innovation Officer at Riverside Health.
