Founded in 1972, Riverside House is a non-profit, faith-based organization committed to guiding people offenders into becoming productive citizens. Our dedicated, caring, and compassionate team members provide counseling, life skills training, and vocational and spiritual development care services to individuals who have chosen crime and fallen prey to it. We assist individuals in breaking free from the cycles of self-abuse, and return them to their families and society to live positive, productive lives.

    Meet Arnoldo Albornoz, a true beacon of hope in our Emergency Shelter Program! For the past six months, Arnoldo has shown incredible dedication to his personal and spiritual growth, embarking on a transformative journey that inspires us all. Every weekday from 6 PM to 7 PM, Arnoldo volunteers at Riverside United Methodist Church, one of our cherished community partners. Whether he’s painting, cleaning, or assisting with the food pantry, his hard work has made a tangible difference and fostered deep connections within the church community. Inside the shelter, Arnoldo is a respected and beloved resident, always ready to lend a hand. His kindness and positive spirit have enriched our community, inspiring those around him. 🌟 As he prepares to embark on the next chapter of his life, we wish him nothing but the best. Arnoldo's selflessness and unwavering dedication have left a lasting impact on us all.     We’re thrilled to announce that Give Miami Day is almost here! 🗓️ Early giving starts November 17-21, and we’re proud to participate in this incredible event once again. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $19,025 last year, exceeding our goal of $15,000! 🙌 This year, we’re aiming higher, with a new goal of $100,000 to support Miami’s homeless community. Your donations will directly support our Emergency Shelter Program, offering safety, care, and vital resources for real, lasting change. 🏡 Your donations will provide emergency housing for up to 35 residents, daily essentials such as meals, transportation, clothing, and hygiene products, as well as support programs including counseling, job assistance, and recovery services.
