Condensation occurs when warm air (hello vent under the window) hits cold surfaces. New homes are tightly sealed. When winter sets in, most people head indoors. This can cause a build-up of moist air, causing your windows to “sweat” during the colder months. Breathing, cooking, and drying clothes are all things that can contribute to the moisture in the air. Condensation can cause mold and mildew, so be sure to wipe the surrounding surface when you notice condensation. There's been uncertainty in the world of interest rates lately and many buyers have been left feeling uneasy about the decision to buy now or wait.
