That’s a wrap on the 2024 Lakes Monitoring Program! Thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers who participated this season. Volunteers in the RMB Lakes Monitoring Program collect lake water samples once a month from May through September. At the end of the season, the water quality data is submitted to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) to be used for statewide assessments. Data is also posted monthly on our publicly accessible Lakes Monitoring Database.
