Pleased to work with HP Helicopters!
Last week, RMCI, Inc. finished its latest installation on the Leonardo AW119. The RMCI team completed the installation in just a few days. Dr. Aaron Howell of RMCI demonstrated the system capabilities to Timothy Hafner, assistant director of maintenance of HP Helicopters. Speaking to Hafner once the installation was complete, he was surprised at how easy the software was to navigate for a first-time user, and how quick it was to make the rotor balance adjustments. He was particularly impressed with how Howell completed each step in a planned and measured method, with no guesswork required. In contrast to the incredible capabilities of the system, Hafner was amazed you could not tell visually the system was there. The installation was so clean and weighed only six pounds fully installed. In Hafner’s own words, “It blew my socks off!” RMCI Inc. is a leading health and usage monitoring system (HUMS) provider with advanced analysis capabilities for aircraft. RMCI was selected by the U.S. Department of State to provide HUMS systems for its fleet, including Black Hawk and UH1 aircraft. RMCI has a history of over 20 years supporting HUMS for helicopters. #avfoilnews
