James Lai has been a valuable member of Roanoke's New York team for the past twenty years, starting as a Bond Service Representative and progressing to roles such as Senior Bond Service Representative and Bond Manager. Currently, he serves as the Senior Account Manager, Surety Bonds, overseeing underwriting, marketing, and leading the customer support team for local and national accounts in the customs bonds sector. Apart from his daily duties, James actively engages in trade events within the New York/New Jersey Broker Forwarder community to stay updated on industry trends and build relationships with key stakeholders. He is a licensed broker in New York and a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Risk Management.
