This right here 👇 Please read our executive director's op-ed in the Cardinal News regarding the relationship between adequate energy infrastructure and economic success. Our region is experiencing a lot of positive energy⚡ (pun intended), and we hope to keep it going!
Just yesterday, the Roanoke Region celebrated another announced expansion. These success stories requires collaboration of partners both public and private. And these types of success stories require infrastructure and energy availability. We face an unprecedented context of growing energy demand in this country. Access to to reliable and affordable energy will continue to be a decisive factor in the location evaluation process of companies in deciding where to locate and expand. Shifting energy policies with expansive, unclear mandates create uncertainty. An 'all of the above' energy strategy ensures the economy can continue to expand, provide opportunity for residents by way of employment opportunity, and provide new revenue with which public services like education and public safety can be funded.
