Our Director of PR, Kathryn Lucas, recently attended Travel Media Meetup (TMM) in Charlotte, NC. She met with 20 travel media from in and around the Charlotte area. She pitched media one-on-one about what makes Virginia’s Blue Ridge the perfect metro mountain destination. Media represented outlets such as USA TODAY, Blavity Inc. , Eater, The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Today (WCNC), and more. ⭐ Travel Media Meetup events provide destinations with valuable, one-on-one interaction with a variety of travel and lifestyle media, making those connections which lead to potential earned coverage in a key market. ⭐ With so many friends, family members, colleagues, and clients impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, Pineapple Public Relations (TMM’s presenting partner) donated the proceeds from the October Travel Media Meetup event to relief efforts.
