Helping Parents Sleep More Peacefully with AI 🍼🤖 A few months ago, my cousin, who had just become a father, shared how his sleep was constantly disrupted by the fear of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). He discovered that a newborn should sleep on their back, the recommended position by experts to reduce the risk of SIDS. This inspired me to develop an AI solution. I trained my own model using YOLOv7 to detect whether babies are sleeping safely. Check out the video! Special thanks to my sister for helping me choose the right actress for the video and to Piotr Skalski your classes have been a tremendous help! Also a special thanks to Roboflow for making dataset creation so easy. #AI #Healthcare #BabySafety #AIForGood #ComputerVision #YOLO

⚡ Ultralytics launched its newest model family today — YOLO v11. Fast, accurate, and smaller than its predecessors, I expect it to be our default choice going forward. Check it out on the leaderboard: 📊 https://lnkd.in/d4tZM7S9 Key highlights: * v11 is available in 5 model sizes, tailored for 5 tasks: object detection, segmentation, classification, pose tracking, and oriented-bounding-box detection. * Note the much higher F1 score - this model outperforms its predecessors when you need both precision and recall to be high. * We don't officially measure speed, however I've witnessed a 10-15% faster runtimes on a Mac, and heard of much much higher speedups on Cuda (thanks for tallying up the results, Onuralp SEZER 👨🏻💻) Terrific launch, a very entertaining panel event, and yet another fantastic model. Hats off to the Ultralytics team!

New Video this Morning 🚨! Join me as we dive into integrating Computer Vision with Roboflow into your Expo iOS app using React-Native Skia! In this video, we’ll create a Swing Plane Tracer inspired by ShotTracer, a technology utilized by LIV Golf! As always, I have so many people to thank for making this video possible. First, a huge shoutout William Candillon for bringing video functionality to Skia! It’s still fresh, but the possibilities are incredibly exciting! 🔥 Next, thanks Tomasz Sapeta! This is my second time leveraging Expo Modules to bridge Expo with Native iOS Code, making the transition between the two platforms truly seamless. ❤️ And of course, I can’t forget Roboflow. While many object tracking demos exist, they often feel out of reach for the average person. The models you provide for hobbyists are simply AMAZING! As someone who grew up playing competitive golf, I may not have the time to play seriously anymore, but my passion for the game remains strong. I wish I could share this tool with my 14-year-old self—he would be blown away! Thank you for helping me bring my dream project to life! 🙂 Check out the video here: https://lnkd.in/gsddAtD9

Stability AI Inpainting integrated into the Workflows ecosystem with only 170 lines of code! It’s crazy how such a small amount can create such nice results. Cool to see the ecosystem evolving in this way. If anyone is interested in contributing to this development, I’d love to connect!

Are you an AI engineer who'd never tried computer vision or YOLO models? Emily Gavrilenko gave an example-rich workshop for you on how to get started, using Roboflow! Had a great chat with her about career progression (from founder -> AI) as well. Check it out: https://lnkd.in/gsu6rPyy

Crossing 20,000 stars on GitHub! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ TL;DR: Supervision, the open-source library I created 1.5 years ago, has crossed 20,000 stars on GitHub this weekend! Thank you to everyone who helped me build this project! 🙏🏻 It's interesting how goals and expectations change over time. Supervision started as a collection of random computer vision utilities that I created to make my life easier. Over time, the project matured and evolved into a framework for managing detections, annotating results, and conducting high-level video analytics. And where are we headed now...? More than 1.5 years have passed, with 3,500 commits, over 800 pull requests, and contributions from over 80 open-source contributors; Supervision has surpassed 20,000 stars on GitHub. It's gradually becoming the go-to tool in its domain. ⮑ 🔗 GitHub repository: https://lnkd.in/d57M3c32 #computervision #objectdetection #opensource #programming #github
