Over the weekend we were invited to volunteer at the Athens Ohio PawPaw Festival with Zero Waste Event Productions! The team let us sort plastics, paper, and aluminum recycling and compost from landfill waste along with some other great volunteers. Zero Waste hand-sorts all the festival waste on-site to maximize what they can recycle, compost, and reuse. At Reclamation Factory, we are always excited to learn more about recycling systems at all scales and it’s a pleasure to volunteer with organizations that align on landfill diversion goals! Stop Recycling. Start Reclaiming. 🗑🔄🖼

Hardware is hard and as a small startup, access to resources and the ability to quickly prototype and iterate on design is invaluable. As part of the Robotics Factory, we’ve been able to leverage various tools in the shop from the Form3 clear resin printer for lens concepts, to the Markforged Mark Two for housings prototyping, and the 3 axis manual mill to machine metal plates for the LiDAR rig. The manufacturing and robotics ecosystem in Pittsburgh is a big part of the reason we’re here and proud to be in southwestern PA. Shout out to Andrew Katon and Luca DeGroot for all the shop support! #lovepgh #manufacturing #hardware #startup #CopilotCommunity Innovation Works
