Through RMAFP’s partnership with the CU Denver Business School, we have brought forward exciting collaboration opportunities in the following areas: Speakers, Board Governance, Networking, and Volunteering. In FY 2023-2024, we had the following highlights: CU Denver students attending our luncheons, Yosef Bonaparte presenting at our Spring 2024 Geopolitical Risk lunch, and the RMAFP President (Scott Dykstra) providing insights as a guest speaker in class on campus in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024. At our 2024 RMAFP Summit, we featured speakers from CU Denver in our opening panel along with our first-ever student career panel session featuring students/alumni Nhi Chu, Rohan Nipunge, and Usha Sharma. We had numerous student volunteers that helped in making sure that attendees had a successful Summit experience. As we look ahead to FY 2024-2025, we look forward to welcoming Yosef Bonaparte to our Board of Directors along with continued RMAFP engagement through on-campus involvement, networking, and volunteering opportunities. Please reach out to RMAFP to learn more about how your organization can partner for collaborative education and networking opportunities.

My internship at Ball Corporation has been a fantastic learning experience. I have had the opportunity to delve into various aspects of treasury, including cash management, financial risk management, and risk management insurance. One of my key learnings has been understanding the fascinating intricacies of aluminum commodity hedging within treasury and its overall impact on the business. I've also gained hands-on experience with financial modeling by developing a bond duration and convexity model, which has significantly enhanced my analytical skills. My favorite moment so far has been working on a project regarding FX trading. Collaborating with a talented and supportive team, both within the headquarters and across global locations, to contribute to the business's financial success has been incredibly rewarding. I am honored to contribute to the continued RMAFP-CU Denver partnership. This collaboration has been instrumental in providing students like myself with valuable opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to the industry. - Araceli Alvarado, 2024 Student Volunteer at the Rocky Mountain Summit #community #students #treasurymanagement #cudenver Yosef Bonaparte Scott Dykstra
