🌟 Member Highlight: Meet Desha Holmes! Why RMPCMA? I was excited to join RMPCMA because I wanted to be part of a professional community. Plus, I knew joining would also provide ample opportunities for professional growth, networking, and continuous learning. Favorite Industry Memory? The very first RMPCMA event I attended was an after-hours meet-up at Convening Leaders in San Francisco, just two months before the COVID lockdown. I was new to the chapter and didn’t know anyone yet, but I immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting; everyone was excited to be together. It was exceptionally energizing, and I met many like-minded and interesting people. Guilty Pleasure? I don’t actually have any guilty pleasures! I refuse to feel guilty about anything that makes me happy or brings me joy. Hobbies Outside of Work? As summer approaches, my hobbies shift to more outdoor activities. Right now, I’m enjoying hiking and paddleboarding with friends on the weekends. Honored to have been part of the annual All Hearts Gala for 6 years. Favorite Industry Memory? I have many cherished memories and I am grateful for all the opportunities, awards and recognition I have been blessed with through industry and charity events over the past 24 years. I was honored to receive the Award of Dedication as Supplier Partner Member of the Year 2023 for PCMA. Booking the entertainment for the NBA All Star Games in Denver in 2005, rappelling down a 32 story building for Cancer League of Colorado and chairing my first charity event for the Rocky Mountain MS Center in 2014. Guilty Pleasure? Going to the pool / beach, attending charity events, being spontaneous, being the energizer bunny, and watching crime shows late at night! Hobbies Outside of Work?
