World #landscapearchitecture Month Day 21: Water Water is a significant feature in landscape architectural design. Whether it's a fountain for soothing sounds, a riparian stream for wildlife habitat restoration, or a canal for irrigation water rights, it plays an important role in the form and function of a site. Here are a few cool places we've visited that have used water in the design. 📍The beach at Kohler-Andrae State Park in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. 📍An epic fountain in Cascada Monumental Ciutadella Park in Barcelona, Spain. 📍Glacier National Park in Montana. 📍The main Payette River, Horseshoe Bend to Montour stretch. #wlam2024 #wlam #thisislandscapearchitecture

About us
Creative. Entrepreneurial. Responsible. Sensitive. A progressive firm with a studio atmosphere and a flexible team who share in all aspects of the work, including marketing, design, construction administration. We are currently working on a full slate of projects involving urban design, master planning, commercial, residential and mixed-use developments, infill redevelopment, multi-family housing, and landscape restoration and renovation. At RE+P, excellent design can't happen without exceptional people and partners. We are talented people, inspired by work that we love. Our construction and design solutions come from individual dedication and hard work. We don't over plan, we look for opportunities, and our company is sustained by our shared sense of excitement and our commitment to serve every client. Our passion is accomplishing our client's vision. RE + P begins with the idea that we exist to serve our clients. Serving our clients is put into action by listening to what is important to them. Experience has taught us that each client has expectations of budget, schedule, and quality. We seek to understand the priority of these three elements early in every project to ensure that we achieve our client’s goals. We’re only successful if our clients are successful. We move forward only when we know our solution is right for our clients, our employees, and our company. It may not be the fastest route. Or the easiest. But it's the only outcome we're willing to accept because we're convinced: doing the right thing is always the right thing to do. Each time we accept an assignment, we open ourselves to new design and construction challenges. We seize those challenges with technical expertise and years of experience. Taking ownership means building a team that values trust, honest communication, and accountability, along with personal and professional growth, all while assisting clients in achieving the success of their projects.

World #landscapearchitecture Month Day 19: Design Solution Landscape architecture design solutions involve the #planning, #design, and management of #outdoorspaces to create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable environments. Tiered retaining walls are a fantastic way to dress up a hill or slope, create greater opportunities for planting and gardening, and to provide #designsolutions for challenging project sites in areas like the Boise foothills. Overall, landscape architecture design solutions are holistic and multidisciplinary, integrating aspects of art, science, engineering, and ecology to create sustainable and enjoyable outdoor environments. #wlam #wlam2024 #thisislandscapearchitecture

World #landscapearchitecture Month Day 10: A Day In The Life A day in the life for a #landscapearchitect in a small firm varies as much as the designs we create. Our days may consist of: 📍code research and lots of CAD work, 📍(speaker)phone calls (thank goodness for offices with doors😁), 📍neighborhood meetings where ever we can hold them, 📍site visits to identify trees (in winter, without leaves!) for Arborist & mitigation reports, 📍public presentations at city hearings to help our clients get their projects approved, 📍and lots of lunches, fun, and laughter! 😊 #wlam #wlam2024 #adayinthelife

World #landscapearchitecture Month Day 8: Collaboration At RE+P #collaboration is built into everything we do. Not only do we work together within our firm and with our clients, but we also believe in #partnering with other professionals who excel in their respective fields. 📍Our team worked together internally on the design for Rocking A Ranch subdivision. 📍We also partnered on-site with various team members as the Rocking A Ranch design started to come to life. 📍We often have site visits with our clients and other consultants before the project to collaborate on the design intent, as we did when designing the White Pine School District playgrounds in Lund, Ely, & McGill, Nevada. 📍We had fun collaborating with Erik Hagen a few years ago on Park(ing) Day! 📍Park(ing) Day also included partnering with Arbor Farms Nursery to borrow plant material for the day to really spruce up our design. 📍We recently partnered with Lombard/Conrad Architects, Alpha Omega Engineering, and Ada County, Idaho to make site revisions to the Landfill. 📍One of our architect partners really got excited about kicking off our new project! 🦝 📍The ULTIMATE collaboration! A rafting trip with some of our partners (who also share office space with us): Western Consulting Group, PLLC & Kevin Cablik (CK Property Group). #wlam #wlam2024 #landscapearchitect
