    On October 2nd, ROGII hosted a Geosteering Competition for students during the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) ICE Conference in Muscat, Oman hosted by ours Dieter Krottand Eric S.. The competition challenged students to steer conventional and unconventional wells, precisely navigating to keep the wellbore in the target zone, optimizing ROP, and identifying potential faults using StarSteer and hosted on Solo Cloud. 32 students were divided into 12 groups and two of them showed significant results: Group 12: Samar Al Shaji, Rahma Nasser, Aziza Khalid Al-Harthi and a close second went to Group 7: Hiba Alramadhami, Fatma Al Tubi, Reem Mohammed Alhabsi! In brief: We are integrating XRF data from cuttings to enhance geosteering interpretations by leveraging advanced machine-learning techniques. The modeled-based approach in conjunction with StarSteer, Solo Cloud, and Solo Feed, provides geosteerers with more data to make critical decisions more efficiently. This approach improves decision-making in complex subsurface environments and offers a flexible framework for incorporating additional data types such as drilling parameters, mud properties, and other downhole tool data.
