This weekend we had the privilege of honoring Chad Edwards at the Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times Heroes for Healing Gala. For 20 years Chad has given his love, support and endless care to each and every family and volunteer at Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times. Thank you for the thought and intention you bring to everything you do. Our campers, families, volunteers and staff are beyond lucky to learn and grow from you. Thank you, and congratulations, on the impact you have had on thousands over the last 20 years! We couldn't share this without sending a huge thank you to Counselor Gummy for creating this video and truly highlighting the impact Chad has had on our Camp community.

Keeping Families Close
About us
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southern California (RMHCSC) is committed to providing comfort, care and support to children and families in Southern California through a variety of wellness and educational programs. Across the Southland, RMHCSC is working to create a community where children and families embrace life and healing with a sense of hope, enthusiasm, courage and joy. RMHCSC currently operates eight Ronald McDonald Houses® in Bakersfield, Loma Linda, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange and Pasadena. Ronald McDonald Houses located throughout Southern California help families stay close to their child when they need treatment for a serious medical condition. Our Houses provide a home-like setting, close to the region's top hospitals, where families can stay free-of charge for as long as necessary. We also operate Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at CHOC Children's Hospital in Orange and CHOC Children's at Mission Hospital. We are one of very few Ronald McDonald House Charities chapters across the world that operates a cost-free, medically-supervised Camp for children with cancer and their families, Camp Ronald McDonald For Good Times®. We support the children of our Southland communities by awarding scholarships to high–achieving high school seniors and providing grants to non–profit organizations working to improve the lives of children.

Thrilled to see our CEO at L'Attitude with her mentor Oscar Munoz, celebrating the influence of Latino leaders in shaping the future of our economy and culture. At RMHCSC, we value leadership that builds bridges and fosters community, much like the incredible leaders featured today. #lattitudeiseverything #lattitude2024 #RMHCSC #LAttitudeConference #OscarMunoz #CEOontheGO #MakingADifference
This morning at L'ATTITUDE in San Diego, I had the incredible opportunity to meet Oscar Munoz, former CEO of United Airlines, in person. We had the opportunity to celebrate the remarkable contributions of Latino leaders to our economy and culture at this trailblazing annual conference. Oscar has been an invaluable mentor, sharing his wealth of experience and insights with me as I continue my journey as CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of SoCal (RMHCSC). Oscar's leadership in both the corporate world and philanthropic efforts has set a high bar for all of us striving to make a difference in our respective industries. His guidance, CEO to CEO, has been inspiring, and I look forward to applying his advice as we work to create a positive impact at RMHCSC. Thank you, Oscar, for your support and leadership! #Leadership #Mentorship #Gratitude #RMHCSC #LAttitudeConference #OscarMunoz #CEOToCEO #MakingADifference #Lattitudeiseverything #Lattitude2024

Join us in celebrating the Grand Re-Opening of Ronald McDonald House Orange County! We concluded our 6-year campaign with a special ribbon cutting ceremony, alongside our supporters and donors who helped make our expansion possible! Help us to recognize the incredible contribution of our founding members, Board Members, McFamily, donors, and staff who helped us double the House from 20 to 40 guest rooms. The newly expanded House, now named the Kerbs Family Building, is more than just a building - it’s a place of respite, comfort, and security for families knowing they’re merely steps away from their child in the hospital. Here’s to serving more families better!
