How many people still write their own content without AI...? We can tell. AI is great, those who have not used it yet - should. It is the way of the now and way of the future, right? Get us 80% there, we'll fill in the blanks (or go with the 80%, it may be 'good enough.') Is it? It is empowering, satisfying, and exciting to write your own stuff. Maybe you won't find all the fluffy words and may not be 100% accuracy on the grammar but... that's okay. It's you. It's all you. Project management is the same. Using AI is great, it gets us a long way to where we need to be. But it will not get us to the 100%. We still need the people, we still need the EQ, and we still need to know what we're doing. #AI #projectmanagement #projectleadership #rlcservices

🚀 Unlocking the True Potential of Your Software Implementation: The Client Project Management Imperative 🚀 Implementing a new ERP or any complex software solution is a transformative journey. A journey full of rainbows and unicorns... right? Wrong. Many implementations falter, the majority do not pass unscathed. But many implementations struggle not because of the software or the implementation partner, but due to a critical gap on the client side. Here’s why having robust project management expertise within your own organization is pivotal: Key to Success: Client-Side Project Management 💡 Expertise and Availability: Many implementations fail due to the lack of dedicated and skilled project management on the client side. The implementation partner can only do so much without a knowledgeable and available counterpart to ensure smooth progress and timely decisions. 💡 Resource Allocation: Businesses often underestimate the time and resources required for a successful implementation. Proper resource allocation, including dedicated team members who understand both the business and the project intricacies, is essential for seamless execution. 💡 Internal Coordination: Managing internal stakeholders and ensuring clear communication channels is a full-time job. A client-side project manager acts as a bridge between the internal team and the implementation partner, facilitating effective collaboration and issue resolution. 💡 Change Management: Implementations bring significant changes. An internal project manager ensures that the organization is prepared for these changes, managing training, adoption, and mitigating resistance. 💡 Risk Mitigation: A dedicated project manager on the client side proactively identifies risks and works closely with the implementation partner to mitigate them, ensuring the project stays on track. Having strong project management capabilities on your side is not just a nice-to-have, but a necessity. It’s the linchpin that holds the project together, ensuring that the investment in new software translates into tangible business benefits. Don’t let your implementation journey be one of the many that stumble due to internal gaps. Elevate your project management game and unlock the true potential of your software investment! #ProjectManagement #ERPImplementation #ClientSuccess #ChangeManagement #BusinessTransformation #Leadership #RLCServices

There's a reason why there are many idioms about "safety in numbers" and "two heads are better than one" and "herd immunity". Why should project leadership be any different? #projectmanagement #erpprojects #leadership #RLCServices

Don’t go the journey alone. 🔍 The Importance of In-House Project Management SMEs in ERP and Software Implementation 🔍 As project leadership experts, we've seen how the absence of an in-house subject matter expert (SME) can derail ERP or software implementations. EXPERTISE: External partners know their software but may not fully grasp your unique processes and needs. They also do not take the time to understand your stakeholders and their volatility. An in-house SME bridges this gap, ensuring the implementation aligns with your business and stakeholders. COLLABORATION: In-house SMEs can effectively communicate your requirements to implementation partners, ensuring smoother collaboration, keeping projects on track while monitoring risk, budget, schedule and effective communication. OVERSIGHT: External consultants may not be available full-time. An in-house SME provides continuous oversight and quicker decision-making, keeping the project on track. So? Who’s your advocate? #ProjectManagement #ERP #SoftwareImplementation #SubjectMatterExpert #BusinessTransformation What are your thoughts? Have you seen this gap? Have you gone through a failed implementation? How has having (or not having) an in-house project management SME impacted your projects? Let’s discuss! 💬

We overcommit, overwork, overdo, and overlook our health. Time for all that to be “over”! Focus on being overjoyed. Find your work life balance and stop being “busy” 24/7. It’s okay to say “no.” #worklifebalance #sanitycheck
Supporting SMBs in navigating ERP journeys | Leadership Enthusiast | Determined Global Manager of Programs & Projects | Master of Process | People-Centric | The Ultimate Mom
I wanted to take a moment to share a personal milestone on my professional journey - the pursuit of work-life balance. For years, I was immersed in the hustle culture, working long hours, sacrificing sleep and calm, and neglecting my well-being in the name of career success. Living and breathing the "had-to" mentality. I just had to do “it” (emails, Teams, pings…) right away. Right away. Every. Single. Day. I did "have to"... I still "have to" but it didn't "have to" be at the expense of me. I reached a turning point when I realized that my relentless pursuit of professional goals and task completions was taking a toll on my health, relationships, sanity, and overall happiness. It became clear that sustainable success isn't just about an immediate response time and getting it ALL done; it's about prioritizing, doing what had to be done, parting with toxic things, shutting "it" off and nurturing a fulfilling life outside of work. I had to re-learn how to not "have to" right away. I made a conscious decision to prioritize self-care and set boundaries around my work commitments. I started saying no and carving out time for activities that nourish my soul. The journey towards work-life balance isnt easy. It requires self-reflection, discipline, and the courage to challenge societal norms around productivity and busyness. Answering emails around the clock is not cool. Being "online" every night is not cool. And the world will not end if a response awaits until morning or the next business day (or the day after that… sometimes.) I no longer feel inadequate to be judged by the number of emails which remain in my inbox when I leave my desk for the day. I have set boundaries on how many hours I work and when I work them. I dont get distracted with work to-do's while my kids try to talk about their day at the dinner table anymore. I don't lay at night running through all the things I'll work on tomorrow, brewing anxiety on high stake items anymore. I don't forego my lunch break (almost every day... still working on that...) anymore. And my nights... they are for sleeping. Not working into the "am" anymore. I am more focused. I am calmer. I am more present. More whole. I feel like I stopped drinking the Kool-Aid... and it's magical. I share this not as a proclamation of having it all figured out, but as a reminder that it's okay to prioritize self-care, set boundaries, and seek balance in a world that often glorifies overwork. Let's continue to support each other in creating workplaces where well-being is valued as much as productivity, and where success is defined by more than just professional accomplishments. Here's to embracing balance and living a life filled with purpose, joy, and fulfillment. #healthyworkplace #professionalgrowth #mindfulness #justsayno #lifebalance
