Meet Minella Gjoka – founder and CEO of Energy Choice, a company revolutionizing power generation and industrial efficiency with cutting-edge technology solutions. Prior to this, Minella co-founded World Energy Solutions, where he was instrumental in its growth from a small team to a successful public company. His leadership in developing the largest retail energy trading platform in North America has saved hundreds of millions for government, utility, and commercial customers. He also played a key role in the largest environmental trading scheme in the U.S., under the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). Beyond energy, Minella founded AMD, a software company in Albania, which grew rapidly and was successfully sold, now employing over 500 people. Meet Mr. Faton Limani – a leadership expert passionate about applying Adaptive Leadership and other soft-skills frameworks to help individuals and organizations tackle tough challenges. With extensive experience as a Head Teaching Assistant at Harvard, Mr. Limani has taught leadership courses across the USA, Europe, and Asia, coaching hundreds of students, corporate executives, and young professionals. His expertise spans multiple frameworks, including Public Speaking, Negotiations, Immunity to Change, Design Thinking, and Strategic Management. Prior to Harvard, he supported U.S. Department of Defense projects and taught strategic management at the university level in Kosova, where he also held leadership roles in local politics and the nonprofit sector. Holding Master’s degrees from Harvard Kennedy School and the University of Prishtina, Mr. Limani is now a Senior Lecturer at the University of Business and Technology in Kosova and the Founder/CEO of Leadership Advancement Associates. Meet Etel Haxhiaj – re-elected Worcester City Councilor for District 5 and the first Albanian-born immigrant elected in Massachusetts. A tireless advocate for the unhoused community, climate justice, affordable housing, and government accessibility, Etel's story is one of resilience and service. Fleeing political upheaval in Albania in 1997, she arrived in Worcester in 2001, where she completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Clark University. For over 23 years, she has dedicated herself to serving Worcester, from mentoring youth and advocating for homelessness prevention to fighting for racial and gender equity. Currently, she serves as Policy Manager for the National Health Care for the Homeless Council and Director of Public Education and Advocacy for Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance.
