In recognition of his significant contributions to the community and the industry, the Mayor of Jeffersontown, KY, honored Virgil by giving him the key to the city and declaring August 28th as “Roppel Day.” This celebration acknowledges not only his achievements in business but also his dedication to excellence and his lasting legacy in the community.

They shared a bit about our long journey in providing engine cooling products and solutions, and highlighted a unique, fun side venture of ours: Roppel Pickles! 🥒 It all started with a retired sales rep's clever idea to remind customers to "call Roppel when they’re in a pickle." To make it memorable, he handed out pickles as a fun joke. We are working with our favorite industry today in Bardstown, KY. Roppel’s agriculture solutions help to harvest the grain and maintain uptime. From there we support the grain transport to the distillery, the trip to the rick house, and finally bottling and distribution. It takes a lot of hands to craft bourbon which creates many jobs.
