    Michael McGill recently gave a presentation that provided an overview of business tax basics to a group of entrepreneurs at the Fayetteville workshop for the Entrepreneurial Law Project.    The Entrepreneurial Law Project is a collaboration between the University of Arkansas School of Law, Fayetteville, University of Arkansas ­- Sam M. Walton College of Business and the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. It provides legal education and programming to Arkansas-based entrepreneurs.

    Rose Law Firm was well represented at last week's Legal Hall of Fame event, which was presented by the Arkansas Bar Association, at which U.M. Rose was inducted into the Legal Hall of Fame. It was wonderful to see U.M. Rose honored and recognized posthumously for his reputation for integrity and legal expertise and for co-founding the Arkansas and American Bar Associations. Rose Law Firm is proud to continue honoring Mr. Rose's legacy by representing each client with the highest standard of legal excellence.

    This past weekend, Brady Brown participated in the Entrepreneurial Law Project hosted by the University of Arkansas School of Law, Fayetteville , the University of Arkansas ­- Sam M. Walton College of Business and the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.    Brady presented on Business Entity Selection and specifically discussed the legal and tax consequences of forming a business in Arkansas. Brady also participated in pro-bono legal assessments with attendees to assess their legal needs and readiness for legal services through the Entrepreneurial Law Project.

    Due to a Federal Judge's ruling, the Federal Trade Commission's Non-Compete Rule will no longer take effect on September 4th.
