#HurricaneHelene has come and gone, but the long and difficult road to recovery continues. Team members from Roseburg's Roanoke Valley Lumber donated a large load of supplies earlier this month to the Nash County Disaster Drop-off Facility and to West Asheville Baptist Church to assist families affected by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina. Donated items included: Four pallets of water, ice, paper products, non-perishable foods, gas cans, propane cylinders, an assortment of baby supplies, blankets, batteries, and work gloves. The team additionally made drops and assisted Roseburg team members and their families who were in need, including helping with chainsaw work. We are deeply appreciative of these ongoing efforts from our teams, and our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted by the storms in the east.

On behalf of everyone at Roseburg, we extend our deepest sympathy to all those affected by Hurricane Helene. The damage has been devastating, and recovery is slow and ongoing. Our hearts are with the communities, families, and first responders working tirelessly to rebuild and recover. We know that our customers, friends, and families in the area were affected, and some of our team members in North Carolina were directly impacted by the hurricane. The Roseburg team quickly jumped into action to prepare care packages for those of our team members who were impacted. Want to help out?
