Matauri Bay is a bay in New Zealand, situated 30 km north of Kerikeri, just north of the Bay of Islands. With crystal-clear water and golden sands, the bay is a popular surfing venue in an easterly swell and at other times it's peaceful for swimming, snorkelling and fishing. Its home to the prestigious Rosewood Kauri Cliffs & Kauri Cliffs Golf course. The course is attached to The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, a luxury Relais & Chateaux Lodge featuring 22 suites and a two-bedroom Owner's Cottage.
