🌟Thank you to all the amazing women who joined us for Women in Economic Development Day! Your energy and presence made this event a true celebration of women empowering women in the economic development space. 💪 We had an incredible time visiting some of Gwinnett’s most exciting development sites, starting with the visionary Rowen Foundation project, followed by the innovative Gravel Springs Logistics Center. At MTI Baths, we saw firsthand how craftsmanship and design create luxury products, and at Bitzel's Chocolate, we indulged in delicious artisan chocolates while learning about their local production process. We wrapped up the day with a Suwanee Gateway tour, exploring this vibrant area’s future potential. It was a day filled with inspiration, learning, and collaboration, and we’re excited to continue working together to shape the future of economic development in our region! 🌍 Thank you to our sponsors Georgia Power Company Jackson EMC and Rowen Foundation! #WomenEmpoweringWomen

Georgia Institute of Technology industrial design students played a key role in creating the Mobile Laundry Bus for Flowing with Blessings Inc., a nonprofit serving Atlanta’s homeless population. Under Professor Steve Chininis’s guidance, students Zaria Hardnett, David Hounyo, Lily Liang, Claudia Ross and Anushka Vaidya used their design and engineering skills to design the bus, focusing on mobility, water supply and workflow. “The inspiration behind the Mobile Laundry Bus stemmed from [the founder of Flowing with Blessing Inc.'s] desire to ease the burden of daily life for the people they serve, allowing them to retain cherished items and maintain personal hygiene without the stigma people often associate with homeless populations,” according to Georgia Tech. We’re grateful to partner with a school that actively impacts the metro Atlanta community for good! To learn more, read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/eHjtJcB6 #RowenLife #atlanta #fultoncounty
