We are nearing the completion of this 18,000 square foot monster with the installation of the infamous Parapro System by Siplast. Doesn’t get better than this. Negligent building owners beware, NYC is taking legal action! This week, NYC filed a lawsuit against the owners of several buildings (knowns as the Windermere) in Hell’s Kitchen over hundreds of code violations for unsafe façade conditions and a 14-year-old sidewalk shed. The Windermere should be considered an architectural treasure for our city and #HellsKitchen, but unfortunately the owners have allowed the property to fall into deep disrepair and have kept the building shrouded behind a sidewalk shed and fence for years! Property owners need to understand that DOB is no longer tolerating when they put off critical building repairs and allow long-standing sidewalk sheds to detract from the livability of our city. Avenue of the Americas looked a bit different in 1964. 51W52 also known as Black Rock, an office building at 51 West 52nd Street in Midtown Manhattan. Harbor Group International completed the $128 million overhaul of the 38-story structure, which was originally designed by Eero Saarinen as the headquarters for CBS and yields 900,000 square feet of interior space. Royal Concrete and Masonry Corp was proud to be selected as the exterior restoration contractor of this New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission landmark and bringing it to a SAFE filing with the under the guidance of Salamon Engineering Group and the stewardship of Senior General Manager William Vazquez.
